I got a Ferris Hydrocut 32 that has those type of front wheels. I think the top bearings are open. Gotta check that out.

Wondering if it is worth it to drill & put a grease nipple on the caster housing for future greasing.

How does the bearing puller connect to the bearing to remove it.

My Gravely is an older model 1999 260 zt, It has a threaded bolt at the top end and according to the parts list it takes a cup, then the bearings and a seal and a spacer. The same on the top except for no spacer. A washer then the bolt with a cotter pin. How would that bearing puller help me get the cup installed up in the shaft so I can put the bearings and a seal so the threaded bolt part sticks up far enough to put the cotter pin in the nut. Thanks for any information.

Thanks, Warren. I just purchased several different pullers and that exact one was on my list for future purchase, so you’ve made up mind for me. Next time I need that type of tool I know where to go. 👍🔧🧰
