Amazing work, we have nothing in the UNITED KINGDOM that has workmanship like this , we can only look on and worship this and say we love it and thank you for showing me 😁
I have seen this type of Bamboo Crafting. I stood for quite a while trying to see the differences. I eventually decided that it was uncut or spliced because the workmanship was so very exact. It did puzzle me but the magician has fashioned a thing of beauty where the naked eye could not tell of construction. Perfection and magical to watch. Very relaxing indeed.

Wonderful artistry. I work with bamboo in Panama but we have nothing here that is close to this level of skill. The workmanship demonstrated here is amazing. Huge respect and not a little jealously.

Bamboo work, a traditional Japanese culture, is about to be forgotten despite its long history. We are posting KZitem videos with the desire to connect the bamboo culture that we have connected for 100 years to the next 100 years.

Thank you so much for this interesting and very detailed video. I like this subject of traditional Japanese technology very much. And their architectural styles are remarkable (Japanese tea garden/Roof types..) Almost everything is Japanese makes is a beauty! Especially when it comes from handcrafted! Thank you again still wondering how they use this bamboo for outdoor purposes... if this bamboo is treated? what is the way to treat it?

This is called "Sodegaki" and is used as a blindfold on the side of the entrance of a Japanese house. It used to be used in ordinary private houses, but due to changes in architectural style, it is no longer used in Japan today.
