甚至找到丢失的东西。 连丢失的东西都找得到。 I love these two ways of saying the same thing. Noting that 连 must be followed by a noun, the word order differs. … In this context, it is not clear if "finding lost things" falls • *within* the scope of other things that were done (use 连), or • *outside* the scope of other things that were done (use 甚至). So either can be used. (Otherwise, I think there is a subtle difference between 连 and 甚至.)

掉进了河里 When a verb (such as 掉) is followed by a prepositional phrase (such as 进河里) then the so-called "after-verb 了" actually appears after the preposition (and not after the verb).

I like 石头带给他好运。 But I think I would have expressed it as 石头给他带来好运。 I don't know if there is any difference.
