【炸年糕】Fried Rice Cake (Nian Gao)
收藏了近半年的年糕,从冰箱取出退冰,还依旧新鲜亮丽。今天下午茶,心血来潮,我们就来炸年糕!
炸年糕,一般上都是夹着两片”番薯“或”芋头“,再裹上面糊,然后拿去油炸。但是,今天我把它裹上面糊后,再裹上一层面包糠,才来油炸。这样的炸法,酥酥脆脆,年糕还很”拉丝“呢!下午茶,吃上一块炸年糕,配上一碗绿豆汤,这就是完美午后的诠释 ^.^ 祝你有一个美好的午后时光从💖

食谱 Recipe
1)年糕 | Rice Cake - 250克 | 250g
2)番薯 | Sweet Potato - 500克 | 500g
3)面包糠 | Bread Crumbs - 2~3杯 | 2-3 Cups
面糊 Batter
4)普通面粉(中筋) | Plain Flour - 1杯 | 1 Cup
5)粘米粉 | Rice Flour - 1/2杯 | 1/2 Cup
6)泡打粉 | Baking Powder - 1茶匙 | 1 Tsp
7)盐 | Salt - 1/2茶匙 | 1/2 Tsp
8)水 | Water - 200毫升 | 200ml
9)鸡蛋 | Egg - 1粒 | 1 Pc
【Fried Rice Cake】
The rice cakes that have been kept in the freezer for nearly half a year are still fresh and beautiful. This afternoon tea break, on a whim, we are going to have a "fried rice cakes" !
Fried rice cakes are usually sandwiched with two slices of "sweet potato" or "taro", then battered, and deep-frying it. However, today I dipped it in batter and then wrapped it in breadcrumbs before frying. This deep-fried method is super crispy, and the rice cakes are still very "gluey" and "chewy"!
