Zimbabwe's former opposition leader Nelson Chamisa say he is still advocating for dialogue with Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, in a bid to resolve the electoral dispute of 2023. Speaking publicly to the media in Harare for the first time since quitting the leadership of the opposition outfit the Citizens Coalition for Change earlier this year, Chamisa did not openly announce his formal return to the political arena but was clear on his critical view of the current government structures, which he deemed illegitimate. He further revealed he is still pinning his hopes on interventions by the regional block SADC and other continental bodies.
