Some slang words go both ways, praising urself, or disrespecting someone else- eg someone can call himself "inja"(dog) which is pretty much translated to "ruthless", but also you can disrespect someone by calling them inja. $ame thing applies with "umdlwembe". But basically umdlwembe is someone who doesnt give a f** . $omeone who does what they want, when they want to, doesn't abide by nobody's rules. Well here on the song Zola uses "umdlwembe" from a disrespectful point of view. Like, Yo, you "Rat" (snitch) Just know that men's rivary never end( "eyamadoda aypheli"). So someone must have snitched on Zola during his gangsta days back in the day; and its thanks to him we have a timelessm classic😃
