Cool video and thx for the info on Champ Games, wasn't aware of too many HB companies other than AtariAge

They certainly release on AtariAge where Champ is the developer and AtariAge is the publisher. It's a must have!

Thanks for a great review! I didn't know about this one, and now its on my list of must-have games. I might be able to entice my 10 year old to put down the iPad and play Atari with me!

This looks and sounds way closer to the arcade version than I ever imagined it’d be, I’m gonna have to pick it up

Blown away by this release, I'll certainly be looking into more releases from Champ Games.

i'm not 100% sure but i think the issue with the way the camera displayed the font may be if you recorded in 30fps. I've noticed Zero Page Homebrew mention this when viewing his videos (that you should display in 60fps in order to view clearer text). I noticed upon setting the video to output in 60fps in the YT window that the text indeed became clearer. BTW, your LG TV seems very similar to my 32" one

Real interesting. That makes total sense. That game has a lot going on. The more sprites, the more flicker. The FPS must be out of synch and 60 fps doubles the capture so... I bought a new DVR too where I think I can set that.

@@HippoBytes cool...I hope you can get the result you're looking for. I guess it boils down to interlacing and sprites/flicker that you mentioned. Consoles up til the PS1 exclusively used the hack that was 240p to display them (i think the 2600 used 240p like the rest iirc). That science is somewhat hard for me to grasp even though I view channels like Retro RGB that cover it frequently. DVR's can be quite tricky when it comes to 240p and his channel covers some devices he recommends for capturing/streaming of older consoles

@@HippoBytes I think I may have first heard of this game through Brian Puddin's Brian's Man Cave channel where he played the game ROM prerelease. Not sure if I'm remembering right though.
