No medication helped us, no amount of therapies or physical exercise. But when we came to Jesus as our last resort He completely set us free, it's been years since and it's wipped away as it never existed. We are the happiest and love life, love people and apreciate each day. The only things we carry are physical scars as a testimony of what God brought us out of. We wish for others to be delivered from depression because it's a spirit and you can't fight spiritual with physical methods. Only Jesus can conquer it and deliver us. That's why we write that so that others can be set free and find that true happiness, love and peace that only the one who created us can give us. Even if not depressed people have that void and hopelessnes they carry in their soul which only God can fill. That's the true purpose of life.. Love you ❤

Why do people get so angry at the doctor who helped this woman who was obviously in excruciating mental pain? She was a woman who was fully aware of herself, of her life and so on. It isn´'t that this woman just had a bad day or was not willing do endure lifes hardships, she obviously suffered for a long time, and all the things she tried and treatment that is available for mental illness. What is one supposed to do when nothing works??????? It might work for 9 out of ten people, but still there is one where the problem is not the current situation in life that might be changed, but being alive itself????? I do feel the same way, I experience the same pain just by the fact of being alive. You don't take that terminal decision just by chance or after having a bad period in your live. A therapist basically ends a young girl's life by telling her she has no remaining options or hope, based on what they learnt on a course. What a joke. Dear Zoraya, I really hope you are reading this. When I read your report 2 days ago I had to cry. A few years ago I wanted to kill myself and my son. I thought there was no way out. But there is. It wasn't easy, but even then God was by my side, even though I didn't really know Him. Today I know that every life comes from God and He loves you so much and when I prayed about your situation, it was very clear: God has a purpose for you and it's not time to go. The devil is also real, just like God and he the devil is the destroyer of everything. He doesn't want you to recognise that. Just like me, I was supposed to die 8 times, but God held his hand over me and delivered me from fears, depression and hopelessness. I believe deep inside you want to live and are searching for love and that you are valuable. OH Zoraya you are so valuable and loved and Jesus who died for you and took all your suffering upon himself in his death stands there and stretches out his hand to you and says: Come to my Father heart, I am your loving Father and I will heal you from all your illnesses, fears and needs if you let me. It is very simple. Ask Jesus into your life and ask Him to forgive all your sins and He will heal you and show you the way you should go. Just as God met me 16 years ago and healed me and my family and also my son, he wants to meet you too and heal you so that you can be a blessing to others. The life that God has given you is so precious and yes of course it is sometimes exhausting but I pray that you open your heart to this possibility because with God all things are possible, I have seen that myself and see it every day. Your loving Father in heaven our God rejoices in you and even more when you allow Him to become part of your life and He will shape your future with you. Give yourself a big hug and don't give up and give God a chance. ❤🙏❤Andrea

She is engaging in the most extreme form of attention seeking behavior. In the mid 1990s, my mother threatened to commit suicide multiple times. She was evaluated by psychiatric professionals and ultimately cleared that she was not a threat to herself. If Zoraya really wanted to die, she wouldn't petition the government for euthanasia, and she wouldn't publicize that she wanted to die. And here's the Catch-22 that all these politicians and advocates and doctors indulging in this nonsense have to square: Soraya's pre-existing psychological conditions preclude her from the ability to make this decision with a sound mind. She has been poorly served by everyone in her life.

I think it's also possible that you don't understand her thinking behind it. That may be because of your experience with your mother. But she is not your mother. She has scheduled the euthanasia to be done. Many people who have advocated for this option have done so (and spoken out about it) because they feel strongly that more people should have that option and that there should be an option to die in a way that feels dignified and with the least amount of pain (as opposed to other methods that don't need to be mentioned here). We are not her and are not the ones that have to endure whatever she is going through, so we do not know. I think it's good that we are able to have conversations about euthanasia and even better if more resources are available to help people who suffer (such as professional help). Best wishes.

Suicide, eutanasia, murder, "putting someone to sleep" these are just euphemisms and words and ways to describe the process, the motivation, the agent and the action of death. We must take everything in context and see where the chips land. I for one want a world where a person who has a reason to die, no reason to live (life is almost totally suffering for that person) can have that option. I want that option for me, for my family members, for everyone. It's absurd that we actually even contemplate the idea that we will prevent someone ending their existence. Who are YOU to tell someone ELSE if they have the right to live or die?

Doctors aren’t “putting someone to sleep”. They are ending her life. She is young. Medication can help. God can help. People don’t want to believe in God because of social media. Social media is a murderer and so are her doctors.

THANK YOU... well said! However, I find the presenter in this video a tad biased - and the information given slightly skewed... Perhaps, the young woman's therapist/doctor being straightforward with her may come across as harsh to some - especially, people that live in a culture/society where everything (for the most part - when it comes to death and dying...) is either delivered in a 'sterilized' manner - or sugar-coated ad nauseam, in order to appear less 'frightening'. No one voicing their personal thoughts/opinions in the comments (pertaining to this brief clip...) has walked so much as one single step in this young woman's shoes... My heart aches for her, I can't even begin to imagine what her day-to-day life is like. There but for the grace of G-d go I... It's a lengthy process with several evaluations that she's had to go through, before setting her preferred date... as this kind of decision isn't taken lightly by anyone involved - nor is the procedure set in stone. The fact that we're trained to prolong life at any cost... where is the compassion, love and understanding for your fellow man's suffering, if that's seen as the only 'correct' thing to do? Once your quality of life is gone, I believe every human being deserves the right to die with dignity.

Welterusten, gezegende Zoraya! Lees alsjeblieft mijn bericht. Ik zal voor je bidden. Jezus zegene je.

Amen!! Keep praying for her sister in Christ!! I see people commenting about how it can’t get any better- but they are only looking laterally to what’s around them to the left and the right. Psychiatry, pharmaceuticals, etc. But we must look UP towards Jesus. I have studied psychology at a top university and found that its answers for human suffering simply DON’T provide an answer at the level of depth that the human soul needs! I continued searching in spiritual things, and found SOME spiritual information (and experiences) that showed me viscerally that the spiritual realm is real. But it’s not until I read the actual words of JESUS in the New Testament that I wasn’t searching any longer!! I wasn’t searching for the truth anymore because the truth found ME and cut me to the heart! I’m sure many who read this are people who would roll their eyes 🙄 at something like this saying that Jesus is the answer, but unfortunately many have had a very very low resolution, caricatured picture of what it’s like to follow Jesus. But the truth is: He gives LIFE, he heals hearts, His brilliance and compassion far surpasses that of any physician or psychiatrist who’s ever lived. His healing power is far greater than any pharmaceutical ever invented. Hallelujah! “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

"A human lives three lifes. The first ends with the loss of naivety, the second with the loss of innocence and the third with the loss of life itself. It is inevitable that we will go through all three stages", but to me it looks like you are in the first stage, allowing your self to to be convinced by others that your life is not a life worth living, sorry but you are in stage one for sure. To have people who loves you, you loving animals, to me that is perfectly normal... I do believe you have problems, but we all live in world wher life without problems is not a life. Im aware that your decision is not made over night but still, you have time to think about it...

Dear Mrs. ter Beek I don't know if you read the posts under this video, maybe you do. Please reconsider your decision. If there is no distorted information on the Internet, in some interviews you stated that you are afraid of death after all. That's okay because the fear of death is part of the self-preservation instinct. Please listen to your instinct for self-preservation and do not euthanize or commit suicide. Do not trust doctors who do not see the prospect of improving your condition. (If a mental health expert said something like that to me, I would never go to him again, because I would doubt his professional abilities and moral qualities. I would find a better psychiatrist (or psychologist, possibly psychotherapist), in short, someone who would he did not dare to write off his patient and declare him incurable.) Moreover, there is currently no reliable biological test that would prove autism or other mental disorders. (Perhaps different psychiatrists gave you different diagnoses, or they added another diagnosis to the diagnoses of their colleagues - yours. Maybe that's why you have 5 psychiatric diagnoses, if my information from the Internet is correct.) I personally believe in the improvement of your condition because modern medicine is constantly developing and also because different internet sources say something different than what your psychiatrist told you. E.g. in the USA they have been developing gene therapy since 2019 and hope that it could help in the treatment of autism. Other states are also joining this therapy. (According to information available on the Internet, gene therapy was provided to a Czech boy with severe autism and speech disorders at a clinic in the Netherlands and greatly improved his condition.) On some sites, parents write that their child's autism was caused by an allergy to dairy products from cow's milk and an allergy to gluten. After eliminating these foods and replacing them with soy substitutes and following a gluten-free diet, the child's autism disappeared and the child began to develop normally. Wouldn't it be worth consulting with an expert to see if nutrition can affect autism in adults? Or try something else? (Psychosomatics, homeopathy, alternative medicine, holistic medicine, staying in nature, taking care of animals other than cats, creating by hand some products that could be useful to others and selling them, trying some aerobic sport (even riding an exercise bike is enough at home, if you don't feel like going anywhere) and get tired enough so that you don't care about everything and have no trouble falling asleep, etc.) I even happened to come across an article on the denik.cz website a while ago, which says that adults with autism improve with age and are accessible to education at a time when other non-autistic people start to have memory problems. If you type, for example, the term borderline personality disorder into the Czech Google (I don't know if this is also your diagnosis), you will find, among other things, information under various links that the intensity of this disorder decreases with age. Know that it is never too late for your dreams. If some autistic people can study high school and college, why not you? You once aspired to become a psychiatrist, if my information from the Internet is correct. You can certainly finish high school in the following years if you adjust the conditions for your studies with regard to your mental state, and no one will certainly prevent you from graduating from university in middle age. Very little is enough. Let the person who is to perform euthanasia know that you have changed your mind and want to live. And if it were already the beginning of May, I would not let such a person into the house at all, I would lock myself (and I would also order the others present in my house to prevent this person from entering my house) and I would only leave a message in front of the door: "I want to live . Please go away.” P.S. 1. In conclusion, I will allow myself three more examples from life so that you know that a doctor, whether human or veterinary, is not a demigod who must be blindly obeyed and whose conclusions must be blindly trusted. He is only human who can be wrong. a) The mother of one Czech moderator (I prefer not to name her due to GDPR) lived to be 90 years old, even though she got cancer at the age of 49, underwent an operation and the doctors gave her only 3 months to live. b) In the days of real socialism, doctors in a Prague hospital tried to operate on a patient with a malignant tumor and discovered that the tumor could not be operated on. Therefore, they sewed the patient up again, but they decided on a merciful lie and told the patient that his tumor had been removed. Of course, the doctors expected that the patient would die within six months. What was their surprise when the patient came for a check-up six months later, gained weight and was completely fine. (More similar cases have been documented.) c) Just like you, our family likes cats and tomcats. We once took my father-in-law's 2-year-old cat to an unnamed veterinary hospital with a urethritis that failed to resolve with antibiotics. The cat had a completely blocked urethra and, according to veterinary tests, his kidneys had failed. The vet recommended euthanasia of the cat. We refused, and on the first day in the hospital, the cat's urine was taken with a syringe through the bladder, and on the second day, under anesthesia, his urethra was cleaned and stronger antibiotics were put on. (I didn't really believe that the cat had a chance to survive the anesthesia, and neither did the vet who saw the results of the cat's kidney tests. I felt like a bully unnecessarily prolonging the cat's suffering, but I thought that the cat should decide for himself whether to have surgery survives.) Renal failure turned out to be a false result related to urethritis. The cat recovered and lived for at least another 10.5 years (then disappeared, unknown to where) and was one of my father-in-law's great animal friends, who certainly extended his father-in-law's life as well. 2. Please stay with all of us in this world (not only in May 2024, but in the years to come). You didn't give your life, so please don't take it and don't let it be taken from someone else. You are a valuable person and you still have a lot to do. And believe me, many people (including me) will be praying for you to stay alive.

@@akat3628 obviously the therapy she is getting now is not working. I’m merely suggesting try something else. If social media is telling her things are SO bad get the ell away from it. Find a way to get out of your own head, but choose ing death is not the way before trying something other than talking to a therapist. I’ve been dealing with severe depression for years, but after talk8ng to a therapist for a few years and taking meds I was not getting any better. I have not gotten better but I learned to manage it and contribute to society in a positive way. I adopted a child who needed me, I foster kittens and get them adopted, I helped my sister’s children when she passed. There are all kinds of ways to positively contribute to society. If she has been lead by climate alarmist to believe the earth will end soon, she been bombarded with negative content on social media get away from it. The reason this won’t happen in the USA is because someone with BPD is thought to not be able to rationalize thought like a normal, sane person would. Pretty much saying she isn’t competent to make such a drastic decision. But at the end of the day. It’s her life, if she wants to quit this life she’s been given, it’s her choice. I just hope that this isn’t used as an example for other young people who need help.

What evil! I can't believe her Psychiatrist said there is nothing more that can be done for her. He should be imprisoned. Zoraya, there is always help. There is always an answer. His name is Jesus. He died for you so you don't have to die but you can live and live abundantly. We all have struggles but it can get better. Your Psychiatrist should have his medical license stripped. It took me 27 years to FINALLY feel better. It can be hell living through the pain but when I think of the literal hell this is not it. If you don't know Jesus as your Savior when you die you will go to hell. You think your life is hard now. You have no clue. I was sexually abused for 5 yrs as a child but I healed. You can too. Please don't do this. I got pregnant and it finally hit me that I was now responsible for another human being and my whole mindset changed. I had horrible things done to me but that wasn't my fault. I shouldn't be punished for something I didn't do. We are God's children. Imagine how he feels when we want to escape the very life he gave us. Change your thought process and you change your life. I never imagined my life would change but it did and so can yours.
