I like the new format, disassemble first then see if it works when reassembled. Continuity on that particular meter seems to be very good compared to some others.

You scrolled by the diode function three times it's right next to the continuity indicator.

Not bad. I feel like most of the meters out today are going to be ok for the basement DC hobbyist. This one does have some nice features and is perfectly accurate for my needs. With that said, I'm still perfectly happy with my 20 dollar Aneng.

Why do they put electrolytic caps in these? Surely they go dry after a few years and have to be replaced. Or am I missing something?

I'm on my second of these. It's very well equipped but useless outside with sunlight. The plastic used for the screen is very sensitive to anything petroleum based. The second one lives at home for basic electronics.

Nice meter.....thanks for the show, Paul. I love Deadwood, too, and am on my third time around. Amazingly erudite and sharp writing, with a wry wit even in the grim scenes. Wish they would do more seasons, instead of frittering their money away on more dogshit politically correct garbage (no offence against dogshit).
