Beautiful!! I love the fact that the panels are removed to see the gorgeous structure, engines and fuel tanks. Stunning

Back in 1982, I went on a field trip to Bolling AFB in MD. I saw a Ho229, (no wings attached and a lot of pieces at the time.) , the Avro Air Car and a forward section of a B29. Always thought it would have been bigger before actually seeing one.

@scalemodelmakeruk881 ...How did you manage to cut out the wing panels and what did you use? The plastic is so fragile so it would be really good to know exactly how you did this. Can you advise please?

So sorry for slow reply - glad you liked it. I cut the panels with a sharp scalpel (lots of gentle slow cuts along panel lines) until I could bend along the line and break the last portion. Gentle sanding after that and you lose the minimum of actual panel.

How did you manage to cut the upper surface wing panels and what did you use?? That clear plastic is really fragile.

Sorry for slow reply - it’s not that bad if you are careful. I cut with a scalpel until I can bend along the scored line and break the rest. That way you lose minimum actual panel (whereas you would with a saw)
