Thank you so much for taking the time to post these videos. You're exactly right, there isn't a lot of info on DIY zoysia from seed. I just ordered 18 pounds of Zenith to put around our new house in North Ga. I learned a lot from your videos. Thanks again.

That’s awesome to hear. That’s the reason I made the series. I felt like it could help other folks get familiar with it and know they could do it.

Good luck with yours. I see more folks using peat moss to cover their seed rather that putting down sand first. Just a light covering.

I think that’s where I should have done better in other seasons. I did not realize how much you could fertilize it.

@@ccooke70 they say it only need a pound per season but hit mine with a pound in late February and 1/2 pound early April and I just laid another pound a week ago. I think I’m done now as we are into the 100 degrees.

Looks good Chris! My zoysia requires alot more water then yours. I live in southern California desert. Like literally the middle of the desert. She's a thirsty lawn but man oh man does it look so good. I'm using PGF 16-0-4 monthly along with the whole Greene County bio stimulant package. I do hit it with some sulfur pellets monthly as well as we are high in phos.

Thank you. It’s an amazing grass. When the heat comes, you can just give it more water. My fescue lawn could not do that. July heat would take a toll on it even with 2-300 dollar water bills.
