Marty, I was a child of the seventies that destroyed vinyl records trying to learn how to play. After a lifetime of being a tavern musician and "drinking it pretty" I got five years sober and I am going back and really learning how to play. Thanks for your help. Your making these songs fun again. I'll throw you a few bucks when i can.

Just got an electric guitar after practicing with an old guitar of my brothers for a year. Just want to say that these videos have been opening my mind up to the unlimited possibilities of guitar. I did not know it was this easy to learn and grasp the concepts. Your teaching is exceptional and I love when you slow down enough for me to follow along. Really amazing product you are producing and I wish the best to you. Now I'm off to finish learning Johnny B. Goode. Thank you!

Thanks. I've been trying to play for over 50 years. I leave it alone for a while then come back to it, and at one time, thought I could play ok around a lot of drunks. For an old man, I still like to learn new stuff and I love youtube.. I thought I'd let you know that as much as I try to listen to different artists' instructional videos, I seem to come back to yours the most. You do a great job of slowing it down and making things easier for everyone. Keep it up.

Thanks for breaking this down, Marty. It enabled me to transpose it to harmonica. It still took about 3 hours to do. Some of it isn't bad. Some of it is hard. Some of it is impossible. Unless, of course, you can play a blow note at the same time as a draw note. I'd post the tab for review, but this isn't a harp forum.

I always play this with a hybrid technique. Beginning riff and main riff with a pick on the A string, D and G string notes with my 3rd & 4th fingers. Same for the bridge: C on the 8th fret (6th string E) with a pick and 3rd & 4th fingers for the 10th fret 5th & 6th stings, then pick strum the 5th & 4th string (8th/10th frets) for the Eb and F power chords. May not be how Mr. Gibbons does it, but it feels right for me.
