Hi Chris, I have the same snowblower as yours, I would like to see if you use a belt or a drive shaft for power. I tried to no avail to find infomation on the net but it seems like this snow blower does not exist!!! So much said, thanks for reading!

Yeah, seems like Kubota forgot that they even made it! The single stage blower for the John Deere 140 has a heavy bracket that mounts to the front of the tractor. This bracket has a gear box that is driven off of the front PTO on the engine and the output shaft is turned 90 degrees so the shaft runs from perpendicular to the center line of the tractor. I used this bracket to mount the two arms that come off of the Kubota blower and attached a #50 chain sprocket to the output shaft of the gearbox and to the lower jackshaft of the blower. I can't recall at the moment what ratio of teeth I used for the two sprockets, but I just researched what other two stage blowers turn at and then selected the ratio based on that and trying to use the largest sprocket I could fit on the gear box. There are pictures of my setup on Weekend Freedom Machines Forum. www.wfmachines.com/forums/showthread.php/83946-Kubota-T2450-Two-Stage-Snow-Blower-onto-a-John-Deere-140/page3
