AC/DC is such a mysterious band, so to have this is pure gold. Especially for someone like me who grew up before internet and such. I had to look for things in magazines, bootlegs, new releases etc etc This is gold. Thank you! p.s it’s incredible to think about the fact Angus is just 40 years old here, Brian is 48. They were in the prime of their life basically. And they still goes on to rock for another 30 years give or take! Rip Malcolm Rip Bon

I think this was largely done to promote the remasters that were done a few years before this.

Powerage ended up being one of my favorite albums. It was an album that kept persevering the strongest among their entire discography. It was underrated, yet i believe it ended up being one of their strongest efforts. Eddie Van Helen also cites one of his favorite songs from that album as well.

It's weird when they finish a song then there's silence........ Always waiting for the crowd to start screaming, An odd silence especially after watching so many bands playing in concerts.

For the record, BJ’s vocals can be heard from 4:53 onwards and the metronomic groove picks up from then. Magical. 🎉🎉🎉

This is a great video! As an actor and barber for a movie I recently wrapped December 2023… the progress is the same for them! Same lighting, same waiting, same technical everything. The preparation is long!! And I loved the job. It’s obviously clear that they love thiers!

I love the riff raf thing where it’s just Malcolm strumming the damn thing, then Phil picks it up, and it just turns into the whole song.

The most important take from this video is how times have changed. Today there is no setup/practice/sound check for TV appearances because the bands of today rarely if ever actually play live on TV. This is from a time when they actually did play for real and you got a unique version of great songs. A live performance and not just the same version you heard on the radio/online/on tv. Today they just show up and lip synch focusing more on the choreographed dance moves.

Interesting for me, at least. The band does rehearsals. And Angus must still be in his schoolboy kit rather than normal gear.

Even back in those days who the F..k puts 1000watt par cans on stage like that facing up? Useless lights creating more heat on stage. Try putting them above the stage so the light can light up the performers not the ceiling.
