Valeen 78 "Steve was a poser." I'd have to disagree. Steve Jobs almost single-handedly turned Apple into one of the most profitable companies on the planet. He may not have been a coder. But he understood a lot about design elements, what it is that people want, and how to deliver it. These are not simple tasks, otherwise anyone could do it. But I would agree that both companies have employed unsavory business practices in the past. Especially the part where they sue everyone.

@@SamIAm-kz4hg "Single handedly" You can't talk to Steve Jobs' fan boy. He singled handedly killed himself too by refusing modern medical treatments too.

@@valeenoi2284 "fan boy." Incorrect. I own no Apple products. They are over-priced. And I'm immune to name-calling. Use your words to explain what you think is wrong with what I said. He was the reason for Apple's success. Yes, he did refuse standard treatment. These things do not contradict each other. They are mutually exclusive. Is this how you think reasoning works?

@@SamIAm-kz4hg You can't reason with an insane person when you vomit about a single person doing all this on his own. Apparently, you have never worked in an industry that requires intense amount of innovation. You may attribute a "portion" of that success (whatever that entails or you quantify), but prattling about him "single handedly" made everything happen is risible, and brands you a neophyte who doesn't deserve a rational response.

I'm a Mac evangelist but Bill Gates is also a hero of mine. He literally saved Apple from extinction 25 years ago by investing $150m in the company when it was at death's door. And Microsoft has always developed software for the Mac which also helped to keep their competitor alive. Theirs was the single defining partnership of the technological revolution and the respect they had for each other was immense - not least because their skillsets were so different and so complementary. They recognised each other's greatness and together they transformed the world. Sadly, I'm still waiting for the first revolutionary Apple product development since Steve's death. Those big ideas and the vision to make them happen seem to have died with him.

Your video never hit the points I tell people when they ask me if they should buy an apple or microsoft OS gaming machine: Apple has phenomenal user interface, and security. Microsoft sacrifices that ease of use and safety for expandability and modification. "Safe behind the red ropes, or no ropes cliffhanger style." After that, I explain the price which leads me into defending Apple as a Microsoft fanboy, because their user ease of access and security suite is drool worthy.

Clearly, you are clueless, ever try to buy a video card for a mac? You could only go to Apple, ever want to repair or upgrade anything inside? You could only go to Apple. It is the main reason most of us chose a PC over Apple. On top of that, Apple was arrogant and overpriced. Just like Steve. Nothing personal, I think Steve was great for the industry but that was his personality. He wanted his system closed off to the public and limited their growth in the market.
