Infinitereps stroke rehab
I had an ischemic stroke on Feb 21 2023 at just 27, in my last year of medical school, about 2 weeks before knowing what I was about to do for the rest of my life. I was discharged on April 28th and began outpatient therapy and home therapy.
Early on I remember looking for content with individuals who had a traumatic brain injury working out hard for rehab. I didn’t really see any. There were plenty of stories how-to’s and progress videos which is great, but I really just wanted to see someone else sweating it out and grinding for the process- the hard part. Not just the reward at the end. So I’ve decided to be that person. Since the best evidence for recovery and increased function post-stroke comes from consistent high rep- high intensity rehab and I’m young and athletic with the physique to take a little pain
The main goal of the channel is simply to show someone doing the very high rep amounts that contribute the most to neuroplasticity and recovery
