Thanks a lot for your great video. I'll provide the link to students of my university so they can choose by themselves. BTW I use Anki on my phone via web browser. It works OK without paying. The mobile app is though way more user friendly on a phone

Yes but only with Flashcard Lab and Cram.com. See this blog post's table at the bottom: flashcardlab.co/blog/choosing-the-best-flashcard-app-a-thorough-review-of-anki-quizlet-flashcard

Add close deletion flash cards please. Honestly would complete the app. Since there’s a flash card editor. An image occlusion editor would be a nice edition. Close and image occlusion are by far the most high yield flash cards because they feel like answering and open ended question. When we have close end questions we get into a focused mode of thinking. While when we have open ended questions we’re in a diffused mode of thinking. There is more creativity and less confusion in diffused mode of thinking. A good close deletion card has context but the question isn’t well defined and it should assume you already know a little bit about the subject. That’s not to say that front and back style cards that are well defined are bad but incorporating these less defined questions will result in understanding things on a textbook and a conversational level. Front and back flash cards shine the most in reviewing already mastered information. We cannot fully benefit even if we break down a subject to its most basic form because than the knowledge becomes to specialized and it is only good as a supplemental study tool. I digress, this is my pitch for the this to be added. Hopefully it’s ready by the time I enter school in August.

You’re doing great work. I see you’re an indie developer and you deserve more love. I was critical about your Flashcard lab in an app review but found myself being unable to hate it during and after I posted the review. You produce great apps and workspace add ons/extensions. There’s a place for you in the world of software dev especially since your niche is productivity based apps. If you can articulate an issue and provide a solution for something customer are struggling with the available resources you have a customer especially when you can state the issue and solve it with little to no words. I’m excited to try this. I like how it ocrs the image and automatically place it in google doc

I think Leitner Box is the best. But there is no useful app for it yet.. The ones that exist are very bad and not user-friendly and flexible.. In the box system we can see which box and learning stage the words are in. The original is include 7 boxes but I would add at least 12 boxes.... Anyway, in short, with Leitner Box we can have more control over the process and easy use.

Isn’t that something you could do with an Anki plug in? I study languages on Anki on my phone and sometimes I download some random audio to go with the card and sometimes I use an autogenerated sound to do it.

@@kats9754 I've used Anki for years to learn languages and wrote an addin to pull sound files for words from the internet. Hearing the word pronunciation as well as reading it is much better, and easy in Anki. Also I configured Anki to give me a card that is just the sound to test I recognise it. So, in short, Anki does support sounds. But as this review says it takes time to lean how to use Anki.

I'm a long time user of anki but now I'm looking at making my own notes. Currently I'm making maths exercises on a tablet with a piece of paper that is digitised. I'm thinking about the best methods for organising both the physical and digitised notes

we need an app for an iPhone or Mac where the flashcards are stored on our computers, not online and up to par with Quizlet - sounds, animations of flashcards, green or red color and so on. Quizlet is the best, but they have access to all flashcards you create which is not good if you want to create flashcards with sensitive or top secret data. All other alternatives look bland. No sounds, no nothing

Why can't I attach a picture on the front card of the quizlet to make a question?
@edtechlabtv
Жыл бұрын
I think you can. But a work around is if you attach the picture to the back, you can change your testing settings to show the back of the card first. This effectively does the same thing.
