Like the Late Gerald Governor used to say. Never sell property, only lease it out.

I lived in buildings like this in Oxford Uni, they look good from the outside but living in them isn't great. It's freezing cos there's no double glazing, no insulation, barely any plug sockets. Since it was a university, we couldn't even have electric heaters due to 'fire risk'. It's the only time I woke up with ice inside the windowsill! Got some good photos though

Those stone cottages are easily 1800's. Not medieval at all! Plenty of old medieval buildings can be found in the older cities of the UK.

Might be medieval houses but look better than a lot of these new houses today, I like the stone bricks must cost a fortune to build with those today

I was born & live in Islington. I like going to the addresses of the coal hole cover makers & finding out who’s trading there now, if the buildings still stand, and some do. I haven’t yet popped in & told the present occupiers the history of the shop but I will! Love your channel! Liked & subscribed.

As someone who lives very close to London and has visited a lot, when i found out that New York City is arranged in literal squares and that’s why they call them ‘blocks’, I thought that was wild.
