Here it comes: after Friday (30 June, Atlanta) and Sunday (02 June, Stockholm) - a whole lot of craziness will be seen on this subject.

Flo Jo was a product of the Cold War East West doping program. Her coach is still at large with another multiple WR holder. Watch the improvement from 1984-1988 and if no one's asking questions, its because no one dares. How Ben Johnson got caught and Flo Jo didnt in Seoul says a lot about American influence in financially dependent S. Korea at the time. Biggest cover up in Sport.

The Brain you have and how it influences your thoughts is just astonishing!!! You’ve obviously sat down without knowing Flo-Jo and you’ve put 2 & 2 together to arrive at 5. Your analysis is very ‘Wonky’ and doesn’t hold water…..WOW!! Dream on because 10:49sec was scrutinized and turned upside down and inside out and so was Flojo but nothing dubious was found and still hasn’t. That time will stand and there’s nothing you can do about it apart from hate Flojo whom you don’t know. You are spewing out false allegations as if you were there in 1988! Be kind to people who are dead and can’t defend themselves. I wish you inner peace to help with your inner turmoil 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾

Bol isn’t at Syd league let’s cut this out
@rientsdijkstra4266
Ай бұрын
Bol started on the hurdles in 2019 (!) McLaughlin in 2014. Bol ran a 51.45 in London in july 2023 4 years after starting on the hurldes. McLaughlin ran a 51.46 in Tokio in 2021, 7 years after starting on the hurdles. I would say that they are pretty in the same league, with the big difference that McLaughling started out much earlier. EDIT (for people who don't understand the implications of this): That means that Bol is developing FASTER than McLaughlin.

@@rientsdijkstra4266 are you dumb? You proved Syd is in a league of her own . Bol is running times Syd did years ago and has even threatened her WR . It’s not about how long you have ran an event it’s times and championships. Bol has 1 and yall make it seem like the girl is with in wr territory

Bol has grown tremendously over the last 1.5 year, whereas McLaughlin has been out of the running, and it is completely UNCLEAR what her status is... When could she start training again after her injury, how much could she train, how far is she now, etc. The first tentative results from the last few weeks seem OK, but inconclusive. And now she has switch her race in LA next weak from the 400mh to a 200m. Why? Does that mean that she is not ready for the 400mh? Many unknowns my man... I would not be so sure if I where you.

Any 1980s record from USA or USSR is questible thanks to the rampancy of drugs along with we cant lose attitude of the cold war. it's even more obvious when it comes to the women's records as not only do those records still stand but the amount of people that have even been close to them is tiny as the amount women can gain as a percentage of ability is higher when compared to men along with men already being on natural drugs. Take women's 100m only in the last 3 years has someone got close to the record set in the 80s with all the modern things such as diet, training and equipment. Previously the next closest 0.15 seconds behind the record. A world record that was also set in the US... by a national celebrity effectively the eras Michael Jorden not of just track but Women's sports pretty fishy if you ask me. Theres also questions of testosterone in the women's sports as well so the she used to be a man argument before it really took off. I mean look at the last one your telling me a girl that looks so diffrent from the norm today isnt on something?

10.49 was a disappointment : immediately after in a live TV interview Flo Jo stated she had run faster, and wanted to run faster. (She was merely pleased to have won through, not excited.) In a TV interview with her husband, an Olympic 110m high hurdler who came 9th and 8th in the US Olympic trials of 1984 and 1988, he stated I wouldn't let any women beat me, when she did, I knew no women could beat her. The current generation of teenager sprinters coming up have a different attitude to earlier generations : Flo Jo's record won't last more than a decade. (There are now multiple runners at the age of 15 who can run 11.3 or faster. They are definitely faster than prior generations with an intent to beat anything existing.)

The numbers you are reading are finishing times, not meters per second velocities. For example, Flo Jo’s 100M record is 10.49 seconds, not 10.49 meters per second. Just saying, you shouldn’t confuse times with velocities. It’s very confusing.
