As a friend of Larry's, and an ex-resident of Vic. Falls, I know only too well how precious this flora and fauna is, and how vital it is to protect it. You have my fullest support, and I am rallying as many people as I can to the cause. Best wishes, Dave.

Wonderful initiative. We can each try and buy only items that we need

Waste management needs to improve. The Council needs to get its act together. Maybe the corruption within needs to rooted out.

Zimbabwe and Zambia need to ban plastic bags like Kenya and Tanzania did years ago. It’s the first step in the right direction. Then, single use plastic containers ……. they must stop too!!! Obviously this will be difficult but it is possible …. it’s the money making plastic industries that should now start paying for their contribution to the global pollution they’ve caused. Humanity has the technology and resources to create biodegradable containers etc ….. there’s no excuse to ignore this ability!! The effort to adjust our lifestyles slightly will result in a cleaner planet for all species!! Well done to the folk of the Falls for implementing this cleanup program!! Brilliant idea ……. but also fight to stop plastics altogether ……. there’s no need for it anymore …… except for the greedy plastic producers. All global problems are perpetuated by money ………. follow the money and you’ll find the source of the problem. Us humans need to start demanding the end of the use of plastic in general. No more need to create more at all!! Sorry for venting but for those of us that treasure the wilderness …… it should be said and no longer ignored.

Have strict policies on use of single- use plastic . They are either completely banned or the government levies a very high tax on them.
