Adriano De Zan, un grandissimo! proporrei a coloro che organizzano il Giro d'Italia di istituire un premio a suo nome per il ciclista che nella competizione ha dato maggiori emozioni agli amatori di questo stupendo sport!

Senna is actually ethnically Italian although he is Brazilian because he was simply born in Brazil. "Senna" is actually an Italian name, hence Ayrton Senna is of Italian descent

Ayrton's mother, donna Neyde Senna, has Italian origins. Her family came from Italy, two grandparents from Tuscany (Porcari, Lucca), one from Sicily (Siculiana, Agrigento) and the other, Luigi Sena (in Brazil Luis Senna) from Scisciano, a small town near Naples. While Senna's father was half Brazilian Portuguese and half Spanish (his mother came from Almeria, Andalusia). But Ayrton didn't speak Italian in his family. He learned it when he was 18 and he came to Europe for the first time to compete in Karting World championship. He drove for the Italian team DAP Karting of Parrilla Brothers in Ponte Sesto, Rozzano, Milan, Italy. Here he stayed for three years during racing season living with the Parrilla brothers (Angelo and Achille)' families. This is why he was so fluent in Italian, even better than in English. He also wrote articles for the Italian motorsport magazine Autosprint. You can easily find testimonies on Internet 😊

Everything about modern F1 is crap. Since the yanks came on board its become a joke. Too sickly sweet, backward tracks, zero pit girls, cunnyfilled drivers, stupid engines, even stupider rules. How can it be the best when its constantly held back. Put the Brits back in charge and lets get cracking. Brits know best.

Ahhhhhhhh beautiful sound..... Those were the days when the teams had qualifying engines, designed to just last a maximum of 12 Laps for the 45 minute qualifying session. These engines were on the edge of just blowing themselves up but had much more power in qualifying trim . The race engines themselves were only designed to just last the race. Ole Nigel Mansell and his red number 5 was one of my favorite drivers of that era. 😎👍

I just have to say that Mr. Mansell drives that lap as should be, a lesson to be hold. No curb bashing from that man required. Clean and efficient, should be shown to some of the clowns with helmet bags collecting way too large of paychecks these days. How many would staightline the Old Busstop???

This popped up and what a refreshing video. Love the noise. Never much liked Mansell but had to admire the tenacity and skill of the man when he was driving. Noting the content here, look at how many kerbs he rode - 1, maybe 2 and those were at the much missed postage stamp - everywhere else he was on the black stuff. Can't we try that it modern F1 and get back to proper racing? Either that or widen the track and put big kerbs on the edges. Let's face it, nobody goes off piste at Monaco so why everywhere else?

The car looks and sounds great. Interesting how he ran out of gear in eau rouge through the end of the Kimmel straight. The modern cars are faster but the old cars have much more mystique.

One of the best ???🤨 Spa is the best road course track ever. It must have been inspired by God himself when he was looking down and wanting to see the excitement of man and machine in auto racing.🙂 After Spa I peg Suzuka the next best track on earth, followed by Laguna Seca even though F1 does not race at Laguna Seca. Number 4 for me would be Isle Notre Dame in Montreal and number 5 would be LeMans, again even though F1 does not race on that track either. ✌️😎

When I was a kid and watched the races against Senna, as a Senna fan I was like hating Nigel from my guts, now that I grew old I realized that the best pilot Senna fought was Nigel, nobody notices it, but Nigel is far far far better than Prost, Lauda, Schumacher and the actual drivers.

I don't Mansell was better than those three, he was different. A real beast behind the wheel, and possessing great upper body strength he could make the car do things no-one else could. And also, he had great courage.
