One of the best how-to videos I've seen on youtube - very inspiring build! How do the frogs/toads get in and out of the large pond?

Absolutely love the project the only thing I would change is getting rid of the filter and turning your waterfall feature into a natural filter it's what I use on my pond water is crystal clear. I have basically what you have but my pond is not a stock tank

Great video and awesome instruction. Thank you! BTW, any advice on how to control hugs, especially mosquitoes? We have a tiny pond in our backyard and plan to upgrade to 300 gal but hesitate because of the bugs.

I have the same two exact tanks that I got for my 14 inch red slider that we adopted. I was trying to figure out how to turn it into an adequate good home for her. I knew I could somehow do it but wasn't quite sure. Going to use your method but instead of a waterfall it's actually going to be a water traveling area for her to go back and forth between the two tanks. Give her plenty of room to have a good life. Your video is the best one I've seen yet on KZitem. It was explained well, you have great common sense, and it was budgeted well. Great job. Your yard is beautiful.

use sand layer at the bottom of the tank and dig hole wider than tank that way you will achieve level...after 1/3 water is installed in tank backfill hole for side of tank with sand and keep level
