Groot Phesantekraal Wines and Restaurant
Groot Phesantekraal dates back to 1698 and is currently operated and run by the Brink family as a working farm, wine estate, and restaurant.One of the many aspects of the farm is its luscious vineyards and award winning wines that it produces each year. While only a small percentage of what is grown is bottled, winemaker Richard Schreuder ensures absolute quality in each bottle.
The farm's restaurant is set in the old horse stable, built in 1767, and tastefully modernised to allow guests to enjoy fine wine and wonderful food in a historical and bespoke space.
Chef Juan van Deventer leads the kitchen alongside Daniela Smith as restaurant manager.
