Way to many sets before a max, should've done 405 then 455 then a faster 500. The 435, 480 and 495 were pointless and only fatigued his central nervous system more. Amazing how he got all of the reps cleanly though. Probably has an absolute max of around 515.

This is incredible! Dedicated lifters can train their whole life and not achieve what this 19 year old has done so early on. It goes against the grain because there is a lack of mucle development on him yet his raw strength is undeniable. He may not be bodybuilding material but I hope this chap explores competitive powerlifting/strongman with this level of talent.

Guess you did not read the header about him being a Navy Football guy. And before/if you want to chime in further...You obviously have never played any sort of NCAA sport...because I can tell you, their testing is very legit.

The ncaa does their own in house testing they are not a WADA Code signatory and their athletes arnt held to the same testing standards as Olympians or pro athletes (who still beat the more stringent drug tests from WADA and USADA all the time.)

if you know anything about powerlifting lifts are scored with wilks points. the wilks calculator can compare lifters between weight classes. this guy's bench press of 500 at 315 bodyweight gives a 126.35 wilks score. a man weighing 200 pounds would have to bench press 438 to achieve a wilks of 126.32. show some respect this kid is a monster.

No, no you don't. Arching the back helps form and concentrates the weight on the upper back behind chest. Powerlifting competitions are all about proper form and this would be a green light lift. This is perfect form.
