I love how he slowly goes insane and is basically unrecognizable to the personality at the beginning of the series. Like... when he switched to a Pirate voice for no reason at 1:06:54 (or maybe it was because he talked about hidden treasure the episode before.. but it was so weird lmao)

Why is there such a weird FOV zoom between 10:29 and 19:26? (Episode 50)? Edit: Also between 28:44 and 28:26 (Episode 52). There are also some moments in the latter half of the video that have the same wonky, eye-destroying FOV.

has to do with his switch to half life goldsrc instead of half life source, in goldsrc when you get the game to run in fullscreen it destroys the fov, he probably realized it later on and changed it as in the later episodes of uplink and the Massachusetts episode it seems to be fixed
@NoahtheEpicGuy

@@shadowpleaser8312 unless the timestamps are wrong or I just missed it, there is never any use of GoldSrc. You can tell by the view bobbing and water. Source and GoldSrc have entirely different view bobbing methods, let alone the water. Ooh, and cubemaps. I think the video just got zoomed in at those parts.

Normally a producer is obviously improving over a long period of time, but with freemans mind it's smaller changes, because he started from the beginning with SUCH PERFECT writing, shooting and producing. What a fucking legend.

what i feel like none of the other "minds" series do is properly introduce the character, with Chells Mind as an exception. Freeman starts out so relatable to anyone whos worked aimless jobs, he's outwardly resentful to the company and its employees but wouldn't do anything more than steal office supplies and show up high on occasion. The cascade happens and he actually feels bad for the first person he sees dead, coming up with the story that he died trying to open the door, but he gets desensitized quickly. He has reservations about killing others but as the soldiers start to test his patience, he loses those too. Theres enough brilliant, subtle character work there as a perpetually annoyed man spirals into madness, evolving to a point where he would sing Modern Major General while dancing around a battlefield killing people. Barney's Mind had very little that set him apart, simply because he was an everyman, not that angry coworker. Adrian's best character work comes in the final episodes. Freeman is constantly funny, but goes from annoyed to psychotic in such a subtle way that you could see it in yourself.

You sound like the kind of person who thinks downloading a game that is almost impossible to be purchased anymore and the publisher barely has any stake in anymore is stealing. Nothing is actually being lost by the person being "stolen from", so I personally would hesitate to call this stealing. You can call it what you want, I don't think Ross would be unhappy knowing this video exists
