If a fish came along and noticed the hook length was 1/4” to long would the fish leave it?
@iangrabham692
Ай бұрын
@Ifithomescom this video is for making sure hooklengths are the correct length for pegs in rig boxes so that when you tie up say 20 rigs you can store them in the rig box. Due to the rigs needing to sit on the pegs each end of the box then being even 2mm longer or shorter will mean that they wont fit. But yeah, if you are just tying up one hooklength to go straight on to a rig then no, 1/4" won't make any difference 👍.

Really good video and unedited which I like as these things aren’t easy. When would you use 2”, on a method feeder? I’ve only ever used 4”
@iangrabham692
2 ай бұрын
Thank you. I would use it when I think fish are picking up the hookBait and spitting it out before they come in contact with the weight of the feeder to set the hook. So on a 4" hooklength the fish has more movement and chance to feel the hook and spit in out before the slack is taken up. A 2" hooklength they suck the hookbait up and the slightest of movements and they are already in contact with the weight of the feeder. I would say 80% of the time a 4" hooklength is the best to use. But if there are points where you think the fish are eating the pellets off the feeder without actually getting any takes ( constant twiches on the tip, but no actual pickups) then try a 2" one and it can be night nad day difference 👌😁. Hope this makes sense. Any questions just ask 👍😊.

Excellent review and really nice 3 piece set , looks quality 👍👌 Just one little helpful tip : just lay the box down and open from the bottom and fold the flaps back and stand the box up and simply slide the box up and lift off !! Your feature wall looks amazing by the way 👍👌

Thanks for doing the review I've been thinking about getting the set and this has helped me decide to get it. One question though does it come with the bar that slides down through to lock them together?
@iangrabham692
Жыл бұрын
Hi Paul. Glad I could help. Yes it comes with the bar to lock the 3 together. You have to buy your own lock though 😁. The only thing it didn't come with us the tray in the middle toolbox. If you buy that section on its own it comes with the tray, so not sure why they don't supply it in the set. I have since bought one of the baskets too and that is idea for chucking power tools etc in.

Ian, thank you so much for a brilliant video. Your camera work is way above the average in the clarity of picture. You patience and dexterity are brilliant, ever thought of taking playing up the piano? Seriously though a very well put together video, I understood all that was said, it's now a case of getting my fingers to do what my brain is telling it what to do. How long did it take you to get that accomplished? I'm 70 and my eyes and fingers are slowly packing up! lol Thanks again Ian.

I got my tool box from b&q as they were on offer. Could not fault the quality of erbauer. Work with a few joiners who have dewalt ones and the sort of laughed at it but when we compared the boxes we all argeed the the erbauer boxes were better having the metal clips on the side and dewal was plastic.

Добротные ящики для инструмента. Но, в среднем не хватает лотка для мелочей. Рекомендую ещё приобрести корзину Keter для этой системы. И есть также средний ящик - термо бокс, холодное пиво брать на рыбалку (тоже Keter).
