Is your car overheating when this happens? Are you using coolant or just water? If I had to guess based on the information I have, i would say that the hose or nipple going from your radiator to the overflow may have a partial blockage. The reason I think this is because the pressure from the car being hot is enough to push the coolant past the partial blockage but the vacuum when the car cools can't pull it back through the blockage. Like its almost like there is a check valve keeping the coolant from going back into the system

Hey, my 09 outback transmission is starting to make a clicking sound under load only, (no it’s not the axles, I replaced them). It sounds kinda like putting a stick in a bicycle spoke sound. Any idea what that could be? I’m thinking a bearing internally,,,,, it only makes the sound while accelerating, and goes away if you push the clutch or let off the gas,,,,,

Thanks, im glad you are enjoying the videos. I didn't make a videos of the cluster install for some reason I think I put clips of it in my engine swap videos because I did it around that time. I cut a hole in the dashboard to fit the cluster which is from glowshift for a wrx. Then I used fiberglass reinforced bondo to smooth the transition into the dash and then I painted it black and flocked the dash for the suede look. It turned out really well and I would definitely do it again. Hope that helps.

So i have headers for my 86. Hear people day not to use wrap because of rusting and fire hazards. How was your experience with your headers?
@SWSpeedCo
Ай бұрын
I personally have not had issues with either. If you have oil leaking onto your header is going to be just as much of a fire hazard with or without wrap. As far as the rust statements, I don't drive my car in the rain or snow so it's not getting wet. If you have a belly pan that covers your header you probably don't need to worry about it getting wet too much unless you are submerging it in water. Also it should burn off any moisture before it becomes a rusting issue since it is a very hot part of the car. Hope that helps
