Finally some decent audio of this engine. It's possible to actually hear the exhaust note over the 'bucket of bolts in a washing machine' racket that can only be the air cooling fans.

Yes, with a complex safety cage in it, in which you have to twist and weave yourself in, but after that you are sure that you are in an very safe place

From memory, a Czechoslovakian company, favoured by some Nazis during World War II. Swing axles and a large rear engine. Killed a lot of Nazis with crazy oversteer as the rear end jumped over itself. Porsche ripped them off, I think (correct me)

Even though it's quite a different motor to a Beetle, all that space inside the rear quarters and engine bay, seem to give it the same resonance.

yes ... 2.5L rear only air cooled engine with all independent suspension all disk breaks and thyristor ignition ... and hand crank available 🙂 my dad use park 2 of them on yard, one he drove for state company, then bought another for him self... It was fun for me, because anything he drove from Volgas through 603s bus, tank trucks sometimes, the company allowed him to take his kid with him

@@Avrelivs_Gold yes , but Tatra company is from czechia ( Czechoslovakia ) not from SSSR , and the Tatra company started production in 1893 , many years before SSSR was founded , and in times when in Russia people still use torches instead bulbs 😂😂😂

Not , but im trying to say that in Tatra was team of engeneers with years of expierence and know how , tottally independent on technologies from SSSR or zaporozhec 😂 ... And most lacks in construction was decided by the communism politics ...
