I just combed my ends this past Saturday. I had help from my 14yr old son. He threatened me, like ma, you better not loc your ends again, or you owe me. LOL!!!! I'm so ready to comb more out....I love the look already, but with more ends out I will be in LOVE :)

I’m 10 months in and started with two strand twists. Realized a few months in that my ends were being defiant😂 but I decided to embrace it. I love it! I’ve gotten compliments from some but then there are those who don’t realize locking is a process and expect everybody’s hair ti look the same. So glad to finally see others who have chosen to keep their ends loose. Your hair is gorgeous

I can comb the entire loc out if I go up to far if I wanted to. So i’m not sure what percentage that would be but if it’s wet and conditioner is on it I can comb the loc pretty much out

I started with two strand twist they were twisted all the way until I left a little bit out and then coiled it around my finger so it curled. Eventually overtime I just kept finger and comb detangling which disturbs the locing process. Keep leave in conditioner on them as well so it never dries out and bud.

@thee_avi5365

I’m assuming she did and with two strand after about a month in your head, you can comb the ends out a little and finger coil/ curl it and use the method she did
@cocoaxo
11 ай бұрын
@@thee_avi5365 huh? Why would you twist them, wait a month and take them out
@cocoaxo
11 ай бұрын
@HeyMonica I have micro locs and I started with a two-strand twist. However, when I twisted my hair I didn't twist it all the way down. Which wouldn't have mattered because I have fine hair and my ends would come down anyway. I have more of a curly texture of hair, like the curly wavy wig units. This woman's hair is more of a coil.

My loctician told me not everyone should do it because they don’t have the curly texture and the ends just puff into naps, so be careful.

Hey hun you are most certainly correct. I myself is a specialized loctician and now going to school for cosmetology. Not everyone texture curl up and will puff if can’t hold moisture like some curl patterns that does curl. I am now 3 years in and it’s still curling 💫🥰🙏🏾
