Lack of technical knowledge of commentators is embarrassing ... "is he injured or staying out of trouble?" Neither - just running even pace, same as he always did

Great race and story from Wottle. Unimpressive announcing from McKay. “He’s got one Kenyan.” I mean, c’mon, they have names. It’s all a bit USA rah-rah. Sharp analysis from Liquori, who recognizes right away that the fast start meant that Wottle’s situation wasn’t as dire as it appeared.

Легендарный забег! За 20 метров до конца Аржанов выглядел чемпионом. Его приятель Валера Борзов стал тогда двухкратным лучшим спринтером в мире. Теперь о таком молодым киевлянам и не мечтать

First time watching this race.. I have a similar story.. To me in high school, 10th grade. Except it was a one-on-one race our coach had us do for p.e. between classmates. I started off slow and by the 600 meters he lost fuel and I turned the exhaust and by the 7th I was next to him, I saw everyone in class getting up and started cheering I went ultra instinct and won the race. Everyone ran to me like the movie grease, and we celebrated. 🎉 😅 Congrats to Dave for showing that not giving up gives you the opportunity to finish the race with the circumstances against you, can take everyone(including yourself) by surprise with a unexpected outcome.. 😉

He had tendonitis in both knees. I've had tendonitis in the knee and once you warm up you can run on it without pain but it is a nagging injury. Dave came back to run the 1500 but missed the final by the 10th of a second.

I saw Dave Wottle win the Ohio high school mile in 1968 with a 4:20 mile. Four years later he won the gold at the Olympics. An amazing time progression in such a short time. He also ran a 3:53 mile after the Olympics.

I can' help but think how mother russia was overtly under the satanic soviet union while the U.S. was covertly under the same evil, masonic lodge, illuminati, one world government, evil, demonic U.N. The two slave nation: mother russia the largest slave nation in the soviet union and the united states, the largest slave state under the debt, slavery banking system of the communist not federal, reserve banking system. These two mighty, former white countries were having their white populations destroyed by many evil methods because they were the greatest threat to world marxist communism. While they were both forced into negative birth rates they were both propping up third world countries with staggering amounts of wealth transfer with industrial build ups, military build ups, food and health build ups and staggering population build ups; etc. etc. ad nauseum ad infinitum. If one looks closely it would be seen the lack of sportsmanship that was ubiquitous in third world countries and third worlder already in the soon to be former white western countries all filled with revolutionary hatred and malice towards the west by the lying media, schools and hollywierd. Mother russia has temporarily thrown off the communist anti western soviet union and that is why the former western countries under the evil international bankers being destroyed from within by hoards of domestic and foreign third worlders want to destroy russia that is trying desperately to save russian and western blood and culture. Every former western institution has been denied and taken away from the builders of said institution and destroyed and or given to alien third worlders domestic or foreign.
