Of all the beautiful states we have, they want to visit California, smh. How about visiting Alaska, or the Plains States, or the Gulf Coast somewhere? Don't come over here unless you truly know what has been happening over here. Don't listen to your media or anyone else for current American information. Stay where you are. Because of our political situation here, it's very dangerous over here. You want the old America, not the new America. But times have changed. You think we're open-minded and free? How can we make progress when you're too shy and ashamed?

I can tell you learning english was a very great experience. I think it’s an important language if you want to communicate with foreigners or if you work in economy. Else, I think it’s not really necessary unless you enjoy learning a new language. Learning english as a japanese person is not a piece of cake. In addition japan is the third highest economic power so I think english is very interesting for japanese people.

Germany is one of the worst progressive countries.
Heiwa Boke is strong in these NPCs. They don't realize they're living in a house that is slowly burning because they don't seem to care to watch what is happening to their economy. Gaman and Shouganai attitudes are what's fueling this economy of NPCs that don't care about politics, but eventually the Gaman will burst and a sinking Japan will no longer be Shouganai.

Most people just cannot use their money. My usage of money changed about from 1000 to 1200 € a Month, from student to job. And with my job my income nearly got 4 times more.
"we feel blessed for what we have" is the right attitude. However, there should be programs in generating interest in politics and economy so normal people understand what is happening. The cause and effect of policies, etc. The first dude's response was ahh, it cant be helped is infuriating.

The truth and real life of the United States of America from a U.S. Citizen (born, raised, educated, working and living in the U.S.A.). Here is the truth and reality of the United States of America in 2024: 1. The United States of America is a melting pot (country of many races, ethnicities, religions, cultures and so on). 2. U.S.A. is a country that has high discrimination and racism. Racism is very high in the U.S.A. Hate Crimes are high in the U.S.A. 3. U.S.A. is a country where people love guns. 4. U.S.A. is a country where people are getting shot or killed everyday(YES, EVERYDAY!) by guns. People are getting killed at elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools and universities as well by guns. 5. U.S.A. is a country where there are drive by shootings. 6. U.S.A. is a country where the crime rate is very high. 7. U.S.A. is a country where the homeless rate is high, especially in Los Angeles, New York, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, and New York. 8. U.S.A. is a country that has the most fat people in the world. 9. U.S.A. is a country where people waste resources (electricity, gasoline, oil, water, and so on). 10. U.S.A. is a country where customer service is bad. 11. U.S.A. is a country where there are several illegal immigrants and still coming in illegally. 12. U.S.A. is a country where people love drugs (marijuana, fentanyl, cocaine, crystal meth, heroine, etc.). Drug use is high. 13. U.S.A. is a country where people do not recycle as much as it should as many garbage can be recycled! 14. U.S.A. is a country where public transportation is poor. The train system is very bad. The quality of the train is bad such as the engine braking down a lot, several cancellations, rail road crossings not working or breaking soon, inside of the train being dirty, and so on. The train system is way behind compared to other countries in the world. 15. The gap between the rich and poor is high. This is the reality of the United States of America for the year: 2024

I am seeing young people of all countries complaining about the economic situation in their country. I believe that social media and television have created false expectations of life. They believe themselves to be poor, not realizing that they are not. If one has the basics of life, they are not poor. Too many people compare themselves to the top 1% and feel inferior because they are not in that tiny group. Yes, Japan is undergoing an economic downswing right now and things are more expensive, but many other countries are also facing this problem.

Just as American students learn foreign languages, but cannot speak them fluently, due to no chance for daily speaking practice in real conversations; Japanese students never become fluent. Speaking a foreign language begins with a silent period of just listening. If a person is not immersed in a language, speaking it is more difficult. There are programs which bring native English teachers into schools; however these are not trained teachers, but rather young people wanting to experience a foreign culture.

Most of it is just pore English education in schools 20 or more years ago, younger japanese are usually better due to better education. Because of extreme national pride there is also a bit of stigma around people speaking English when it's not connected to work, Mainly for females.
