14:00 what I heard (here in Germany): with the "real" refugees came a large amount of north African immigrants who were largely criminals. Once in the country, they moved on, living the life of crime, and built up a social media network that allowed them to get together e.g. on that Sylvester evening in Köln

im not short(177cm) but i remember feeling like a tiny Asian when i visited Cologne- Ladies all looked like models with tiny heads and long ass legs. Dont remember seeing a female who was shorter than me. I also remember nobody on the streets understood English

I so much more enjoyed the earlier episodes of Anthony Bourdain's series "No Reservations" and "Parts Unknown" when the focus was on the foods and its relationship to the local culture. Not only gastromically interesting, but educational. In the more recently episodes the food seems like an "interruption", an after thought, or at least minimally an interjection into an otherwise political conversion (e.g., Glasgow, Cologne). And that's when things started going off the rails. An unfortunate slide away from the entire purpose of the programming. Anthony's most tragic demise aside, this series, I believe, was doomed for having lost that focus. Most of us didn't tune in for his political investigations. We tuned in for worldly gastronomical enlightenment. And that is sorrowly missed. Thank-you, Anthony, for all that you gave us. You've given so much and it is truely appreciated.

I think The Arising Light gave you the answer... Helas. But have you watched the Antarctica episode ? Those people found the answer: respect. We all need each other -and you do not because a refugee for the fun of it! So IF these people were respected in their own countries, most of them would stay. Why some people have to earn more than they will ever be able to spend, even in the most extreme way, is something I will never understand -and I am still on the subject here
