Hello, i have been researching your teams new actuator and am very interested in the concept, and have been wondering if there has been any updates about the new actuator, as in using it for developing a humanoid robot with human limbs as in arms with hands. Also i was wondering can the new actuator be used in the field of bio-inspired robots, as in quadrupeds, bipedal bots, and also possibly making snake like robots.

hi, nice work..So what about the cost of those magnetorheological fluid clutches? Why didn't you count them too? Also could you please give some more information on their specs? Like what is the holding torque etc. Thanks.

This looks like a very fine piece in development. Could you please list the limitations of the system? Accuracy, repeatably, and resolution? At least your target goals? Also, do you have a 4,5, and 6 DOF system in the works? Even in concept? That low cost will make it of great interest to smaller companies, but even they will find it useless if it only has 3DOF.
