Saw them do this in NYC. The lead singer climbed up to the balcony and was strutting across the rail. A slip could have been a disaster!

I seen this band live at California jam 1 more smoked out than anybody alarm with some other good s***mind you I was going into 10th grade make a long story short when I was talking to going up front stage and we were going through a lean tube and Chip Johnny ran through the tube and knocked me on my ass eyes with a bunch of older guys that were in the air force of Norton Air Force Base and he'll pick me up and said damn damn like I was some kind of looking motherfuker who is Jim Danny Grammy over like a freight train we got up there in front stage above the first fence somebody had me a shitload of Black oak Arkansas paper hats sun visors Huntersville told me to throw them over the the fence at the crowd how do you make it home with one but I sure now remember Ritchie Blackmore deep purple coming on at the end of the evening doing the song burn an empty milk jugs were flying everywhere then before you knew it was full milk jugs with water I grabbed some dudes ice chest lid and put it over my head 4 gallons of water oh no I'll never forget that day Jim Morrison the eagles deep purple

i'm L.A. born and raised but i was only 6 years old when this happened but you don't know what i would give to have been there. my pale us prolly would've gotten sunburned but it would've been well worth it. from BLACK SABBATH to SEALS AND CROFTS literally every act that was there that day was amazing. i'm grateful we even still have footage from it truly one of the greatest festivals of the almighty 70's.

They almost blew my eardrums out in a live concert in Madison in the 70’s. It (volume) was borderline criminal.
