2pac did good on the laughing . Especially the very start . It sounded as if he wanted to cry but started laughing instead . People do that , when you look at their eyes as they do it ….. they are watery

Looking back Shep did Birdie dirty by leaving the family behind. Birdie might’ve turnt out better if Shep stayed and handled his business.

Now that I'm older I'm starting to realize Shep was the real villain, Birdie might've been an a hole but if Shep stuck around long enough to guide him then Birdie would've been a better person.

0:22 no matter what Birdie became, that's a messed up thing for a big brother to say to his younger brother

Tupac was a mythical figure no doubt, had an immense impact on hiphop, overall pop culture etc, so I'm trying to be really respectful when I say this: He was NOT good at acting, at all.

Birdie’s character was a broken lil brother, too tough to tell his big bro “i missed you, man. i need you.” & Shep’s character was too stubborn to see it 💯

It was too late that big brother stuff shep because of your absence he grew up to be a thug. I can't blame Birdie for being angry because all he wanted was a relationship with his brother

The razor wasn't in the script, Tupac did that himself to represent the ny gangmembers who held Razors in their mouth to hide from cops or surprise rival gangmembers

When I rapped, I wanted this scene on my mixtape…. “Never did get that right…. It’s funny what u do pick up tho”…. I understood. Never really had that kinda influence in my life that the boy had. I miss when most hood movies had subtle messages in scenes like this. “Pain” in the background is just the cherry on top for many scenes in this classic movie. I can relate to Shep too in this scene. Traumatized by loss of close friends, facing the insecurities of being an underachiever, disappointment and runner throughout life. RIP Pac

You can see Birdie get hurt even more when Tom gets in his face asking what he wants. That was the last straw for Birdie. Now he genuinely hates him.

This scene solidified Pac greatness "I never did get that right,,,its funny what you pick up tho!" It was a complex situation and it showed both brothers bonding and separation at the same time. Shep chose basketball court and Birdie chose to hold court.
