How did you get it off of the wall. I can't get mine off of the wall. It feels like it's going to break

I had the same question... and eventually figured out that it just pulls off. It feels like it will break, but it doesn't. Seems like that is the design.

Stick a thin knife in the side and (carefully) pry it open, it will separate and pop out, same way to put back in hit the side holding the lugs and it pops right back in.....mine was inop because the button on the side (plastic little nob ) broke off. Be careful

Does this unit use batteries? Ours just shut off

@@EMTOBIA2007 No, it does not use any batteries. The thermostat gets 24 VAC from the main board. The red wire is the hot and the white wire is the common. The green and yellow wires are for data communication between the thermostat and the main board and outside condenser unit.
