You saved my life! I thank you so berry much for pubbing this video!! I can return the replacement juicer that doesn’t compare with the power this juicer has. I just replaced the filter and the air flow is pretty weak as to nothing at all. I'm ordering a capacitor and hopefully this will fix the problem.

Tilt switch turned out to be my issue and not the Thermocouple as the owner's manual suggested to replace for pilot light not staying on, so thanks a lot. Save me some $.

Great video - looks exactly like my heater. Tilt switch was intermittent, glad I don't have to replace the whole gas valve.

Thank you so much. I skipped all the issues you checked and went straight to the tile switch bypass for my heater which was also only one year old. It was an easy bypass and the heater stared working properly immediately. Thanks again.

Thanks Brad. This did the trick on our two Lowes bought patio heaters that had only been used for two seasons before they started going bad. Not worried about tipping over. No kids and we don’t run these when windy because it just blows the heat away anyway. Thank you.

Watched ten videos before watching yours. Yours was the only one worth watching. I took my entire heater apart and cleaned it first. Still didn't work. It all came down to bypassing that 50 cent Chinese tilt sensor. My heater was 5 minutes from being thrown off a cliff. Thanks!

what about a burnt smelling motor. anyone know how to fix that? thank you.
@zachalles7428
Жыл бұрын
Ours had a burnt plastic smell and the motor "stopped working" It turned out that one of the pieces that rotates somehow made contact with the fixed piece causing friction to melt the two together. Once I pried them apart( carefully), and scrapped off the burnt plastic bits so it could rotate freely, it worked fine. I'm sure the motor stopped as some kind fail safe once the resistance get too high.

Add to your round top dome patio heater by installing The Patio Heat Director Adjustable Movement Reflector : www.amazon.com/REFLECTOR-ADJUSTABLE-Heat-Directional-Patio/dp/B08JYRP5HN/ref=sr_1_15?crid=1ISYXVOLEY6SD&keywords=patio+heater+reflector+shield&qid=1662774105&sprefix=%2Caps%2C160&sr=8-15

Manufacturers design these so they break and most people go out and buy another one. You're not most people!!! Your wife needs to soak all the dishwasher safe parts in soapy water and scrub them. Looks pretty dirty. No it's not stains.

*Install was easy **fireplace.homes** good although I personally had some difficulty with the thermostat I had. Issue was mine though, not realizing that electric heaters couldn't use oil thermostats. Tip: If you are using an external thermostat, run the power to the thermostat, not the unit. Once that was squared away it worked great.*

Makes sense to have safety features such as a tilt switch in case the heater tips over. Can the tilt switch be reset?

I went through 3 different videos which didn’t solve my problem since they focused on simpler problems than the tilt switch, but this one covered all the bases and did the trick!
