Still looks like she's moving nearly completely randomly, I'd define that movement more like as drawing "8", but bees probably don't recognize "8", so ;D She did move all over the place, that tab didn't reflect her almost at all ;D Maybe it's just a nectar drunk bee, who's drifting around. But ye, if there's a Nobel Prize for this invention, then it's prob true and well proven.

i'm having hard time believing all this is real it can't be... they can't "calculate" angles and dance moves in their heads they don't do math, even I can't remember or give clear directions to strangers... 1 second of dancing in 270° = 750 meters in insect head r u nuts

How do the other bees comprehend/receive this information? They must be seeing it on a 2D plane almost, given their size. Combine that with the dozens of other bees around the dancer and it's amazing that any of them can get the info they need from the waggling bee. I guess it just takes one or two to see it from above and then the rest just follow?

This is accurate, except that it's the only animal that can tell you where it has eaten.. Plenty of animals communicate where food is to other animals in countless ways

If a bee can fly at 20-30km/h and the distance approx 1-6km, it means the traveling time to the field is up to 0.2-0.3 hour, flying back is same, so at least half an hour. During half hour the Sun moves approx 7°-8° on the sky and the duration of the collecting on the field and dance also up to half an hour, so the total change in Sun's position can be 15°. How they can compensate it?!?

They use gravity as a constant so if the waggle is pointed straight up, that is pointing directly toward the sun on the horizon. down is away from the sun. And they change the direction of the dance to account for the position of the sun depending on time of day

We perform calibration experiments where individually marked bees are trained to collect artificial nectar from a feeder at a known location, and we do this over and over. Then we analyze the dances from these marked bees, knowing exactly where they have been.
