The only thing I don’t like about this video is that they left out the coda, where Ricky and Fred come in as Groucho and Chico.

Lucy and Harpo were awesome in this, thanks! The "mirror routine," made famous in The Marx Brothers' Duck Soup (1933), was in fact first performed by Max Linder in Seven Years Bad Luck (1921). It's also very good and maybe my favorite version?

The Marx Brothers Groucho, Chico and Harpo had a comparable scenery, in this case all three were dressed as Groucho.

This is another of my favourite. The mirror image. I dont understand why at the end when lucy tells harpo who sent him up to lucys apartment when ricky should be walking in as groucho & Fred behind ricky as the italian guy. Why they dont show that?

Many. Lucille Ball was not funny by nature. She kept rehearsing until her performance was funny.

I loved the Lucille Ball shows on TV, always a much watch she was wonderful, and the Marx brother were right up at the top of the comedy tree. This is a really great sketch; it must have been so hard to do for so long and the hat on a string ending is just pure Magic. This is just one of hundreds of brilliant TV shows on every night back in the 50s and 60s, why has TV fallen so far as to show the utter celeb CR*P the push out on 100s of channels now and which they have the never to call talent? Thanks for sharing this.

It entertained me sixty years ago when I was a kid. It utterly astounds me now that I can appreciate more subtlety. Lucy was a mistress of comedy and so extremely talented, a nonesuch for all times, and a perfect complement to Harpo. What I was unable to appreciate at all sixty years ago was her repartee with Desi. ... Ethel isn't so bad either, no?

Of course Lucy is no stranger to working with the Marx Brothers having starred with them in the 1938 film Room Service.
