Thank you for this video! Clearer than the Instructions. I'm struggling to gain and or add key tags. Process has been. #881122 5 Enter last part of Serial Present fob and nothing happens.. any ideas?

There a portable battery operator to duplicate tags , smaller than phone , so yea if you can get near the tag just copy it .

Each UHF (RFID) Tag has its own unique ID that can't be cloned, isn't it? How is this possible at 8:20??

Hi, You can clone an RFID-tag, as it does not even try to hide the information it is sending. Tag just sends an identity number and you can read it with a suitable tool (in this case I used Proxmark3). This tag ID is the only information this RFID reader needs to validate a tag. Usually the ID is fixed and cannot be changed. For cloning, you need a special kind of tag that allows the ID to be changed (I used the very common T5577-type in the video). You can also use Proxmark3 or similar device to emulate a tag. In this mode, the device waits for a signal from RFID-reader and responds with determined ID. This is the quickest way to clone a tag, but my Proxmark3 was very unreliable in emulating a tag, so I didn’t demonstrate this method.

I used Proxmark3 with RRG/Iceman software: github.com/RfidResearchGroup/proxmark3

Hi mate your video is the only one that is straightforward, so thank you! Just wondering for Method 2, do you type the hash then the code like this #881122 or can you do it without the hash like this 881122 if that makes sense?
@Zokol

Thanks, I’m happy you found it usefull :) For the method 2, to get into the configuration-mode, you need to press hash first, and then type the configuration-mode passcode (which is by default 881122).

This would be a really nice project for someone to make their current DIY-CNC a closed loop system. I.E. giving feedback to the software to ensure the motors have received and executed the right number of movements. Currently only servos commonly offer this type of supprort but this could be easily modified to fit on stepper. Whil it would be easier to do on bi-polar it could still be achieved with uni-polar.

@Zokol Alright then I can wait for it to be finished. Also what kind of software did you use for interfacing with the CNC?
@Zokol

@cyctechproductions Yes quite so, I just wanted to test the hardware and code before moving on to bigger machines. If you are interested, I could upload some videos of the "real" CNC when I get it finished.

@Zokol So this is just a sample CNC apart from the real deal.

@cyctechproductions The material in the clip is standard one sided PCB. This is just test platform for stepper motors and is made entirely from one cd-drive, apart from logic and few screws. So it's not very stable for cutting, next step is to install this logic to Proxxon KT 70 and do some real CNC cutting.
