I sort of crave to do this sequence....it's just so calming....and as I have said in a previous comment....the birdsong and the lack of the spoken word is just exquisite. Thank you again.💜

Well I commented on first finding this and said that I would update my thoughts after having practised this for a few days. It's been 10 days...I now don't have to look at the breathing guidance because my body has already worked out when to inhale and exhale...it just seems to happen so organically! I do this sequence before anything else and have found that I don't really want to look at or check my phone or engage in any tech...for some while afterwards!This is a real little gem and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this version. The birdsong is exquisite.🙏🙏💜

oh my goodness..... whilst looking for a beginners Qi Gong video I came across this!!!! What a little gem! What instantly appeals to me is the fact that there are no spoken words....in fact the birdsong, I think, is a real bonus...it seems to add to the serenity of the exercise and increase the feeling of wellbeing. I haven't yet performed the movements.....BUT I just know that I can already sense that this is going to become my regular go-to . I'll keep you updated on my progress...and I'll check out your other two videos too. 🙏

does it matter what time of day you do Qigong exercises? I usually try to do it when I wake up 6 a.m. but my wife likes to do it when she goes to bed 11 p.m.?
@marianavieira4673

Glad you two practice! During my years of studies, I learned that each organism perceives the best time for itself. There are Chinese thinkers who argue that during the day, Yang energy (solar energy, so-called masculine force) is more active and therefore it would be better to practice to feel excited during the day. While, from 11 pm until 4 am, Yin calms our body and mind, puts us in states of rest and the practice would relax us more. Interestingly, your wife does it in feminine (Yin) time and you do it in Yang. Either way, it will be a happy time!

@@amyoungil yes I agree...my body seems to work out which it needs the most ...to be energised or for more of a calming aspect...this sequence manages to provide either way. Magical really!
