1st principle: have top five players on same team. 2nd principle: see principle 1. 3rd principle: see principle 2. Not saying he isn't a great coach, I think he is the greatest, but talent is like 90% of a team's success.

Lot's of basketball people think Phil's philosophy and style of basketball is old and no longer relevant. Little do they know the things he borrowed selflessness and the triangle offence were around a lot longer than Phil. He just knew how to make it relevant for his time. Not likely ever to be repeated.
