“If my i.q. was lower I could enjoy this interview.” I don’t know what Ali’s i.q. was but he was a very intelligent man. Smokin’ Joe, and Big George were also dang smart and all a lot smarter than me.

What a beautiful relationship they had. Hilarious, a little adversarial, but always with an undercurrent of tremendous respect. Less seriously, when he said the "you'd still be in Louisville stealing bikes" I was like "ooooh damn you can't say that these days," but lol at the way Ali handled it. I'm guessing that was something he told Cosell on the side once.

Those were the days , I remember them both very well , it was a great era for boxing , good boxing ended after Tyson , as much as not phoned of the Paul brothers , thank to them boxing seems to be on rise again , it’s much more classy the mma ? The problem with mma is that there’s a new champion every second Tuesday , every body and their brother seems to think they can be the next champion , I’ve seen some real morons interviewed , if you roll around on the floor and hold on to your opponent hard enough and long enough you stand a good chance winning ! But boxing is on a different Level , it takes brains to be a champion it’s takes speed and accuracy as well as unbelievable stamina , look at all the greats , actually there wasn’t that many over the years , as apposed to mma which has as champions in five years as boxing did in fifty years , the proof is in the pudding !😂

And it's: "if that *doesn't answer your questions", not "dont." And it's spelled *don't, btw. Staggering idiocy.

Muhammad Ali and Howard Cosell two so different and seemingly odd couple. One a brash black superstar Boxer/Athelete aka The Greatest. The other an unatheletic white legendary sportscaster. One a black Muslim. The other white and Jewish. But the love and respect they had for each other transcended all of that. These two legends epitomize how good and honorable men should conduct themselves. Both these legends live forever in the hearts of their fans and admirers
