1.6 had a lot of head gasket problems look at the coolant gauge that should never get past the half way mark

Lovely car is this 🤩 with big cabin and boots space, and low fuel engine consume, and I see them for less than € 2000, the best car for first drivers, and cheap money

I had a 98’ 220cdi s210 for a daily driver in my opinion it wasnt too weak moved the car pretty good it was driven 450000km and still had some kick in it now i have a om612 270cdi s210 02’ and its a very good daily driver

@@verttiii after 5 months..., it had some issues...like the butterfly admission and some repairs i had to do it...now i'm thinking of selling it because another issues it has...the bearing of a wheel and some oil and refrigeration loss that i have to search

@@jujase00 I have a '97 one(also 20V) but I'm lucky enough to have an AC. It's a wonderful car. Easy and cheap to maintain, quite agile especially over 100kph and a nice spec(full lights package, leather steering wheel, alcantara seats, climatronic, black headliner that is still in place). The only thing I'm missing is the cruise control but other than that man, that's a really cool hatchback

Old, but gold! The view must especially on the brakes. And the engine, not so good is a ‚diesel‘ sound from the pistons. Well is the oil change all 10-15.000km, not the longlife terms with 30.000km periods!

No major issues. It had bad thermostat and driver side window regulator was faulty. They were easy to fix.
