I was fortunate to visit Alice Springs for a Ranger program back in the mid to late 90s...We were Rangers from the FNQ, Cape York and the Torres Straits. Frank took us hunting Kangaroo and he could hit them from a mile away...Later that evening we jammed and had Roo from the 🔥💯 Thanks for the night brother. I was Jamming with you that night 🙏🏽 I have written a few songs since 🙏🏽

Just seen Frank Yamma playing at the Mullumbimby Music Fesival in Australia, twice! What a rare a beautiful gift to witness someone hiding nothing - this man does not perform he gives you himself, raw, heartbreaking and tender. Moved me to tears.
