Thanks for posting the video... brings back memories of a MEDCAP Tarlac in 1981. I really missed the warmed and harmonious relationships between Americans and Filipinos.

I miss the presence and the warm friendship of the Americans in my home country the Philippines. I salute all of you. I wish that U. S. bases will return in the Philippines.

mitsubishidiamante, Clark is still in the Philippines :) It's a thriving community with a huge SM shopping mall and new hotels, casinos, schools, and even factories where the base once stood. Oh yeah, and an International Airport once again called "CLARK". You probably know this already, and like me lament the fact that we no longer have a US base there... those days are gone, but you may be interested to know that a large reunion has been planned for any and everyone formerly stationed at Clark Air Base. Take the link from www.ClarkReunion.ph to see the website (under construction) and a link from there to the "Clark AB Reunion 2015" official Facebook page with over a thousand members. Request to be added to the FB page with some details of when you were at Clark.

I am one of the Airman in this video. My name is Dean Ulrichs and I was stationed at John Hay AS from '87 to '89 as the NCOIC of Transportation and remember going on several medcaps and other civic action events. To get to the last village, we literally going up a bulldozer trail. I know, because I drove the bus with a bunch of nervous women!! I am at min 6:12, the Sarge on the right with glasses. Many wonderful memories of the Philippines.

I was at Clark as a dependent wife from 78 to 81; while there, I was a Red Cross volunteer at Clark AB Hospital, and was a participant in one Red Cap run within Pampanga province. This video brought those memories back - thanks for posting!
