hi bro one question, is your keyboard still working currently?
@Keeahh
Ай бұрын
I swapped out my PCB for the Wooting 60HE PCB, along with most of the same mods. The last time I used it, about 9 months ago, it was working just fine. However, one thing you should definitely be careful of is not forcing the USB port into position when plugging it in. This can bend the port and prevent it from connecting properly.

Hayate otsu xsoft vs zero soft? I get pretty sweaty wrists which makes the otsu feel like glossy and feels like I have to wipe my wrist clean on my shirt every x minutes. The zero does not have this issue for me but its a more normal pad, the otsu is special, what to pick?

I think if you only play fast paced tracking games like Apex, Overwatch type you should get a Hien, but if you want one mousepad for all types of games including stuff like Valorant, CS, Apex, etc. you should go with the Hayate Otsu, I'd argue the Zero is best for Valorant/CS though.

@@Keeahh this was my first time ever doing a keyboard mod and honestly it went bad and good. I tried putting pe foam in the case but the pcb wouldn’t screw in and the tape either I don’t know if it’s due to the fact that I put 3 layers of tape but I ignored those parts and went straight to the switches. I bent like 7 switch pins after putting all the keys in and all my key caps were misplaced because I forgot where they were positioned. I had to fix the bent switch pins with tweezers it was pretty simple. Now everything is fine and I’m considering putting foam in the case now that I have a grasp on how to work on keyboards. Also, it took like 4 hours and I wasted my entire day (kinda) 🥲

Hey, a question, so it's my first time buying an Artisan mousepad (currently using QCK+ for a year and has been really muddy and slow, tracking feels bad on tracking kovaaks) but I can't decide wether to get the Hien XL soft or Hayate Otsu Soft, as I feel like I want control over my tracking but also smooth speed. Which do you think I should get it tho? (I do play CSGO and Valorant too but right not, I'm mainly on Apex. Appreciate any comment from you or anyone. Thanks!

If you're choosing between the Hien and the Otsu, based on the games you play and the specs you're after, you will probably be better off with the Otsu, especially given the fact that you're on the QCK+. The Otsu has nice speed, decent control and amazing tracking.

personally the otsu is too slow for me, especially for microadjustments and for tracking at slower speeds. i have not tried hien, but for me paraspeed v2 is better than otsu, and for my low sensitivity, artisan xl pads are too small. so my otsu is parked in its envelope in a corner, sad to say.

I don't have multiple copies of the same pad with different hardnesses, so I'm not 100% sure. Going off from what Artisan states, "mids" are very slightly faster with worse stopping power, "xsofts" are very slightly slower with better stopping power, and the "softs" are the most balanced version of the pad. All of my pads are soft, however, I don't think you'll be disappointed with any of the versions. As for what pad would fit your game, I think you're right on the money with the ones you listed. Both the Hien and the Otsu seem to be really valid candidates; it's probably going to come down to personal preference.
