Rewatching this a 2nd time. Such an epic analysis and really great script writing and video editing.

I want to see your analysis of his wins against Emmet and Volk. Everyone knows he upgraded his defense drastically for the Emmet fight.

I refrain from giving Dillashaw too much credit in regards to honesty. He’s got to be the one of the most blatant cheaters in recent history. It doesn’t take anything away from the argument though that UFC fighters deserve better pay.

Funny, after this weekend, this should lob into my suggested vids. Outstanding work. Depressing work. A new sport, it could have gone anywhere. I've wondered why it's such a clusterfuck of non competitive, deeply stagnant... lazy operation. Profits booming, fighters still these pathetic figures begging for a fairer slice of the pie, the sight of the glue factory and never understanding why, exactly - check the above - and the decline, not the improvement of the standard. Those who retired early, abruptly even... they ran for their lives. THey knew just how insurmountable their powerless truly was, and how ruthless their disposal would be, but not efficient and humane. There's so much here, that ties into where politics are at, culture is at, where we're heading, the resistance to that... these fighters stand at the coalface of so much of it. Curious how much of the gambling/fight fixing is a form of a honey pot. Teams are making their money elsewhere, reduces pressure on UFC, labour costs obviously kept down, even medical costs minimised because fighters know or have detected that the UFC picking up their medical tab is a fast track to oblivion, but now those teams/fighters are trapped, cannot demand more, cannot ditch the dodgy manager class, cannot unionise, because they all have dirt on them in how they got most of their money. It works out really well to protect UFC, Endeavour et al from all of their mistakes. Strickland's recent efforts in Canada and after, carrying on about politics scammed him. No. His psychological instability and apparent lack of impulse control made that fight going ahead really shaky. Threatening the opponent (and some people took note of that, a majority just see it as part of the action of fight week), behaviour that could warrant arrest and deportation... the ripple effect on the UFC's model if that PPV didn't go ahead... uber. And the anachronistic set up... they deserve to be hanging on by a thread, but it will be everyone else who ends up paying. You can see why the control of who can carry PPVs is so contrived. It's not the politics... it's the money. (He lost that fight fairly, that's not what I'm arguing. But those last two days... DDP's conduct, you could see there was a tension, had to nurse Strickland through it to make sure he got to Saturday night, UFC would have been doing the same... And it brings up Sean as a good example... Fight Night darling all those years. Had they assessed him and knew giving him the power over PPVs like that just wasn't good business sense?) You just lament, as the big sports limp on towards uninteresting, the appeal of MMA, it's newness, all hijacked. Worth a rewatch, that's for sure. Very nice job packing so much in. I hope it's turning up in everyone's suggestion columns.

I was all about One FC until I saw that article in sports Illustrated, I was blown away. What do you think about Ones contracts vs UFC's? Do you think Chatri is just a wannabe Dana?

ONE is barely an MMA promotion in my opinion their contracts resemble kpop deals more than an MMA contract. Even UFC doesnt own likeness in perpetuity

@@MMAIBA Thats what I'm saying, some of their stipulations in the contract are insane, likeness for life. You can tell even DJ just doesn't have any drive to fight since he makes a killing streaming, kind of a bummer as I love it whenever DJ gets in a ring. Also, you mentioned Hunter Campbell, and you also mentioned a lawyer's office in your agent's/contracts video, Campbell and something, are these the same place (Hunters law firm, or his families)? Lawyers tend to have all your dirt. So much makes sense if they are. When are you releasing something else? I really enjoyed watching your videos, and getting a side most people are too afraid to go into, fear they will get Helwani'd (banned). The whole agents being promoters and vice versa, and just the conflict of interest all around is nuts. So many small things make so much more sense. Also the fighters really need to understand the UFC HAS to put on shows, so they could ask for anything, but almost none do. They use their stepping up as like brownie points, like the UFC actually cares about their horses, I mean fighters. And seeing dana act like he cares so much about slap, its cringe. Did you know Dana also owns part of Nitro Circus, Nitro rally, SLS skateboarding contests, he owns a bunch of random stuff.
