I grew up in Dearborn Michigan This museum is great to see ONCE. Being in Dearborn we had yearly field trips in school to the Henry Ford.( Formerly The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village). It was a cheap trip for the schools. They haven't added anything in 60 years except the Limo President Kennedy was assassinated in. And an Imax theater. Which was great until they got rid of it. The chair from Ford's theater that President Lincoln was shot in is there. Great place to see ONCE. Up until 1939 Henry Ford was selling vehicles to Germany. When they then started taking over Europe. And it's rumored that Henry Ford was anti-semitic. I grew up playing baseball at Ford Field a park with a baseball diamond. Now the Lions Training facility in Allen Park Michigan, the Detroit Lions train at a Stadium named Ford Field. In East Dearborn is Ford Woods, another park with a Hockey Arena. The Lions Stadium in Detroit is Ford Field. In Dearborn is a Ford Road. In Detroit a Ford Freeway. And at the Henry Ford there is a 1906 Electric car. Had he lost profits for a year in 1906 we wouldn't have a hole in our ozone layer. Where if you're out in the sun for more than 15 minutes, you now have to wear sunscreen, or risk skin cancer, according to every TV News weatherman in Detroit.. We have an abandoned Ford Rouge Plant. A closed Ford's Woodhaven Stamping Plant. Ford this Ford that. Etc. Etc. Nothing named after Tesla. But a closed down Edison Jr. High school. And an Edison street. Dearborn was once my hometown and beautiful. You could walk 12 blocks in any direction and come to a outdoor swimming pool, now closed down. A school, now torn down, for condos. Or a park with a baseball field, now gone with mostly condos too close together. And streets like Telegraph and Michigan Avenue that once had single businesses are now, every driveway a sideways strip mall. Once a beautiful City. You couldn't pay me to live in that eyesore of a City And the taxes are incredibly high for small, WWll Post War cookie cutter houses. You can look down a block and all the chimneys are in line. Once a baby boomer generation beautiful City. Now The Middle East of the United States. All Foreign owned Party Stores and Gas Stations that charge us 3 times the price to sell us our own U.S. made items back to us. And 99.9% of the owners are rude to their customers. I no longer consider it my hometown. Every weekend in the summer are fireworks displays that I can hear miles away in another town. That at least they stop at 10 pm. Great place to see ONCE.

Did you inform the kiddies that Henry Ford was a racist, anti-semite, NAZI collaborator? Bet not. Also, Edison was a cry-baby who wished he was half as brilliant as WESTINGHOUSE

I can't watch the rest of this. 10 min. in and Edison is praised like some kind of God. Edison was a businessman who hired other inventors to make stuff for him. The real inventor who needs to be noticed is and will always be Nikola Tesla. You may say agree to disagree, but look up what kind of electricity we all use to power our homes. It is known as AC power that was discovered by Tesla and Edison hated Tesla for it. DC is Edison and where we use DC power is in everything that uses a battery. Tesla did make batteries too but were taken out because of the business tycoons of the 1900s. Pop quiz. which one of these 2 power houses of electrical guys was best friends with Mark Twain? Mark Twain would go to Tesla's lab in New York in the early 1900s to just play with Tesla coils and to just see the crazy stuff Tesla invented this week. Everything from the Earth quake machine that literally shook an entire building to free energy. Well it wasn't that it was free energy but electricity that was gathered by people walking around and discharged into the basement of the "New Yorker". The very building that tesla spent his last years in. A man so great he was silenced for the amount of technological advancements in his time would have put us into a era of truth.

But thomas edison is not a noble inventor (if he is really invent a thing). History record him as a looser and a cheater compared to magnificent Nicola Tesla.

I normally don't like to complain about such things but the narrator has a really annoying voice. I think the sound man could put a bit of bass in the speakers voice to take out that annoying nasal voice.

What a joke, Edison never invented anything, and certainly did not invent the light bulb, he was a person who had others invent things and then took credit for those inventions and sometimes never paid those who invented or improved his company's products. Saying Edison. changed the world is a joke.

No he did not invent the light bulb. He invented a filament that made it worth using by lasting longer and burning brighter. He also founded his own newspaper at 14 and General Electric, which has made a thing or two that has been of benefit to you. Are you one those hipster Nicola Tesla fans?
