Around 3:30 as they got up close it really is light and whoever said its chrome which made it a little heavier well it's wrong I have been jrotc all my four yrs and those are light the sound and how they are performing like its nothing when upclose around 3:30 it's easy for them to spin so I do call the rifle out but good performance but seriously light rifles is what it appears and looks like. Most chrome rifles are light because I was also a soloist going against for solo Ex and a guy won first because they didn't check his rifle and how light it was not to mention it was chrome just like these rifles and he let me weighed his rifle.

In every drill video there's always some asshat claiming to know their shit and telling everyone the rifles HAVE to be light because theres no WAY a team could spin 8.5 pound rifles that fast. Buddy just because your school didn't practice that much doesn't necessarily mean everyone else has to be held to those standards as well. And what kind of dumbassery is this? Because the rifles are chrome they're probably lighter? My guy I own a regular daisy and a chrome drillamerica and they both weigh in the 8-9 pound range. And in the very scene you're mentioning (3:30) you can CLEARLY see those are regular demil receivers. Considering that these are probably chrome PLATED they probably weigh a little more than a regular demil reciever would. Just to top this all of this is NHSDTC fucking all service drill nationals do you really think a team could get away with bringing 5 pound rifles to the top drill competition in any JROTC branch - and place that high? The rifles look easy to spin because the members holding on to them sacrificed hundreds of hours practicing. Just because you go to some local drill meets to compete in some solo category doesn't mean you know what you're talking about. Every time people like you deny the achievements of others and just write it off as having "light rifles", you undermine the endless amount of time these guys obviously put into practicing. You need to shut the hell up and actually know what you're talking about before you talk crap.

CODWAL12DEN I don't believe you. no offense but you have some fairly skinny people and for ALL of them to be able to those spins, that fast, that precise and be able to teach new cadets every year is very unlikely. You guys are good but your rifles are not 8-9 pounds. I'm calling BS on that.
